Custom Inbound Data Filtering Rules allow customers to provide their own regular expressions (regex) to filter PII or other sensitive data from being ingested into Genesys Cloud. Regex filters (sometimes referred to as masks) can be applied to digital inbound conversations. When a regex rule matches inbound text for the configured digital channel, the text will be redacted or masked in the conversation. The redacted/masked text will not be visible or stored in Genesys Cloud.
