    Hi Genesys Community, 

    We've created a new community forum specifically for our newly launched beta solution for RAY BAUM's Act compliance.

    RAY BAUM's Act, Section 506, is an FCC ruling that requires 'dispatchable location' is conveyed with 911 calls to dispatch centers, regardless of the technological platform used, including 911 calls from MLTS. The purpose of Ray Baum's Act is to ensure dispatchers know the accurate location of 911 callers.

    We're happy to announce our solution Ray Baum's Act is launching in beta! Remote agents now can update their E911 location directly in their profile settings.
    This beta is open to all Orgs in USE1, USW2 and CAC1 using Genesys Cloud Voice for their telecom & E911 service.

    While this is obviously being done with the focus on that region, is there any plan to release the functionality to other regions?  Are you able to put in here a screenshot for me how that would actually look in the user's profile and whether that would subsequently display when looking at a Performance\Agent view?

    Hi Vaun,

    There are not currently any plans to release this in other regions. Since the guidance and requirements are coming from the FCC, we can not assume the implementation would be the same in regions outside of the US. We will be supporting the functionality in Canada which is not under FCC mandate, but there is a precedent of the CRTC having similar if not the same requirements as the FCC.

    The screenshot below shows where the address would appear for the agent. It is under their profile and on their dial pad. It will not appear on the Performance > Agent view.
