  • 1.  Agent Script Text Formatting

    We have some agent scripts created that contain click action buttons to automatically do consult calls for our agents. At some point the formatting of the text on the buttons changed from being center aligned to being left aligned. I can't seem to find a away to automatically adjust these back, and have resorted to just adding extra spaces ahead of the text. When did this change and does anyone know why? Also, are there any plans to enhance the Script UI or processes? It seems very outdated compared to the rest of the platform.

    Brian,

    What is the Width of the button, under Layout, set to? If you use the first option (default) it should auto-resize to fi the text, which will result in it looking centered in the button.

    AFAIK, there hasn't been a change here, so it's possible that someone tried to resize the buttons and that resulted in the behavior you are experiencing?

    Hey Paul. Thanks for the response.

    No, we are not using the default "auto sizing" option for the width and we have not been ever since we implemented last year in July. Something happened around/after the new year as that was the first time agents started reporting seeing a change in the text alignment. I am the only person in the org that manages or touches the scripts and I cant find anything in any of the past release notes about scripting changes.

    Below is a screenshot from our scripts showing the text center aligned in the buttons from when we first implemented. Below that is a current screenshot showing the text left aligned.
