  • 1.  Article : Import file with revisions

    Posted 10-26-2023 05:16

    Hello.

I've got a knowledge base, with 2 revisions: 1 for voice bot, and 1 for the other touchpoints.

I 've got more than 100 articles, and so want to import them from an excel file.

The template is very basic and does not take into account the variations and touchpoints.

I've found how to import 2 variations (add the column "contentName" with the name of the revision) and switch in 2 lines, 1 for voice, 1 for chat and faq.

But I don't find how to format my field in order to pre-select the touchpoints.

I suppose it has something to see with adding a column "contexts". But when I simply add the column "contexts" , fileld with (for example) "Bot Flows", when I import it I get an error "Context is not a valid JSON".

Do you know how my excel file must be formatted ?

    Thanks a lot

    Catherine

    Catherine,

I don't think you will be able to duplicate the format for the CSV or XLS format - looks like one comma missing and you will toast the import.  I suggest using the JSON format.  You can convert your CSV or XLS to JSON and then insert those variants.  The nesting looks like a bear replicating.
