    I'm trying to create my first bot. I'm asking for Date of Birth, using the builtin:date Slot Type. If I say March 1, 1980, it starts reading me back a date saying the day of the week. How do I format this to read back the date in MM/DD/YYYY format? Has anyone asked for an input of a date and read back to the caller?

    Hi Kara,

    You need to edit the communication builder and adjust the format that is read back like so:
