Hi all,

I opted in this morning, before we roll out to our agents.

Am I right that there is always this white space to the right, unless you fill it with other tools?

There is no "fit to size" option?

For example, on my monitor, if I have the Script panel at the maximum size, and Wrap Up at Small size (which is all it needs to be), I have a large section of white space where it just says "Select more tools to open". There aren't any more tools I need (usually), so this space is just unused - whereas the script would benefit from being larger, with text getting wrapped.

I want to expand the size of the script panel (see image) so the whitespace is gone - but I can't?

Script Behavior – The script panel is a custom-developed component, and its behavior, including responsiveness and sizing, is influenced by how it was designed and implemented. We recommend partnering with the developer of your script to explore potential adjustments to its layout and display within the panel.

White Space and Alternative Adjustments – The reserved white space you're seeing is intentional and designed to accommodate future features that will enhance functionality and customization. However, in the meantime, here are some potential adjustments that may help improve your experience:

• • Screen Resolution Adjustments – Modifying your screen resolution may help optimize the layout and make better use of available space.

  • Browser Zoom Settings – Adjusting the zoom level in your browser may slightly impact the way elements are displayed within the panel.

  • Panel Layout Adjustments – While a "fit to size" option is not currently available, experimenting with different panel configurations and sizes may help balance visibility between tools.

  • Alternate Display Settings – Depending on your workstation setup, adjusting display scaling settings on your operating system might also provide a better fit.

hey @suyog gupta - it depends on the agent's permission...

After 28 April:

Agents with the permission turned on = will see multipanel 

Agents without permission = will see legacy view until permission is turned on for them by their admin

The only agents who should be surprised with a new workspace on the 28th would be those who have permission, but didn't opt in (or did, and then opted out). Because they would be moved to multipanel when the toggle is gone.

Thanks for this clarification. Just to make sure I'm abundantly clear - I have a group of new agents starting on 4/28 and want them to start with the multi-contextual panel right away. Because my region wouldn't get this update until Wednesday 4/30, I should assign them the permission and instruct them to opt in on 4/28, correct?

The Enable/Disable button is still active for users, was there something on Admin side that needed to be done to remove this feature?  it's been 2 weeks now since 31st of March.

Also - was it designed once you consult transfer and need all 3 members to talk - to conference it?? and not just have the three way conversation.  You lose all Consulting Transfer features of the Interaction after a conference is set up..

What agents will see will be entirely based on their permissions. If your agents don't have the multipanel permission on their account, they'll see the legacy view beyond April 28. 

However, we won't support the legacy view forever, and we will announce the retirement of the legacy view later this year. At that time, it will be a forced roll out. 

So, use this extra time to prepare and make the move for all agents by assigning permission as soon as your business is ready to go. That is the best way to ensure a smooth roll out that aligns to your ideal timing.

Could you please confirm when the Multi Contextual Panels section in the 'Genesys Cloud – Features Coming Soon' will be updated with a full explanation of what will occur, impacts, including the rollout dates by region? This will reach a wider audience and provide everyone with a clearer understanding, helping them prepare for the change at the end of this month. This will be greatly appreciated.
