A place to ask questions, connect with others, and stay in the know
The first week of Trivia Tower's Summer event is about to go live!
We asked for your trivia suggestions, and I was blown away by how many foodies we have in the community! By far the topic of "Summer Foods" was the most suggested, and it came in all forms: Picnics, BBQs, and pool parties, just to name a few. So, we want to know what is the first dish you look for when you go to a party? Also, do you make the dish to make sure your favorite version is there or leave things to chance?
This is wide open! Are you going to make a run straight for the protein? Do you have a side dish that you always try to grab a little extra of? Are you like me an only eat watermelon at a party, so it's a special treat? Oh...don't think I forgot about the delicious dessert options, I would yell "fire!" in a crowded party for seconds on the right cobbler.
Drop your answer below and don't forget to vote in the poll for what our trivia category should be for week three. The poll is now on Genesys Casual and Trivia Tower.
Congrats to the finalists!
I can never pass up the artichoke dip but will always offer to bring guacamole with chips.
Spinach Dip is one of my favorites, but I'm not picky.
Kebabs for the grill!
Any kind of dip!
I am a little surprised that dip is really running away with this. I guess it makes sense.
For me, and this may be a southern thing, but I love Deviled Eggs. I will absolutely ask my date to grab one for me.
If that is not available, I love the little Hawaiian Roll sandwiches. I don't care what's on them, I'm just ready to overload my plate with those little guys.
What is really amazing is that I would not sit down and eat 3-4 eggs, but I could pop 6-8 of those cute deviled eggs in a sitting.
Hahaha- I totally agree, Robert! It's crazy to think how many eggs I've eaten when they are Deviled Eggs, vs. like boiled. LOL
Hands down, taco dip. It's the best. I often end up being the one to make it, but if not, I'll scout it out.
A well-made fruit salad is a big winner for me too. And by well made, I mostly mean banana-free :)
Ah yes! The evil 7-layer dip. Pile on the cheese and sour cream!
OOOooooo love me some taco dip! YEEEESSSSS!
We love Christmas Parties - here is our attempt at a Moz/Tom Wreath -
Oh wow, that's beautiful, Joel! Do you guys put balsamic on there?
